Both of these drawings were begun as a way for me to cope with anxiety. Through the process I was able to to and explore a new style of drawing, one that was always in my head but I could never get it out onto paper. I had been focusing on drawing realistically, but it no longer felt satisfying or fulfilling. So, I turned to surreal line work as a way to break free from those constraints and explore my imagination.
